Weekly Fishing Report 7/1 My Joyce III Montauk, NY We had a very busy week, with excellent action! We had great bass fishing this week, with most of the fish in the 40+ pound range-the largest weighing in at 48.5lbs! It seemed like the early morning or night tides were the best for the bass. Fluke fishing was good, as long as we had good drifting conditions. We also had great sea bass and scup action all week. The only downer was the shark trip we took on Saturday- there was no wind and no drift which made for a very slow day on the shark grounds.
