August 3 Fishing Report

Captain Liam reports James and the boys had a great day on the My Joyce III. We started off scup fishing and it was nothing short of fantastic. Lots of double header and medium to large size scup came over the rail. While we were scup fishing at the point, the birds came up and the guys diamond jigged up nearly 30 blue fish for the smoker. Hope they bring us some! Then we went down towards Block Island and got our limit of jumbo sea bass (in one drift!) seeing most of those in the 4 pound class. With the wind increasing, we went fluke fishing and worked our way home with not too much luck there. It was a great day on the water. Things are heating up down at Block.
